The Roxana Kids Wrestling Club (RKWC) was established in the 1996-1997 wrestling season.

We are an IKWF sanctioned team that teaches kids from the ages of 5-14 (kindergarten through jr. high) the fundamentals of wrestling, to prepare them for the advancement into Jr. & Sr. high wrestling programs. Along with teaching the different techniques of wrestling, we also teach the kids self discipline, self motivation and sportsmanship.

We work in conjuction with the Roxana Jr. and Sr. High School coaches to teach the kids what is needed for their Jr. & Sr. high wrestling careers.

Many of RKWC's wrestlers have gone on to wrestle at the State level, with some of our wrestlers winning the State Championship. They have then become very successful in the Junior and Senior High wrestling circuit.

The RKWC holds their annual IKWF wrestling tournament in December. This is a large fundraising effort for the club, since it is a not-for-profit organization that runs on donations from generous businesses and fundraising that is done by the wrestlers and parents.
